Tucked into the eastern edge of Sonoma and the northern border of Napa Valley, Knights Bridge affords sweeping views of Mt. St. Helena and the Mayacamas. Winemaker Derek Baljeu works entirely with organically farmed estate fruit, focusing on Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. The ultimate expression of the estate is Draco Dormiere, a Bordeaux-style blend.

Knights Bridge’s visual identity is steeped in chivalric iconography, in a reference to both the estate’s name and its setting in Knights Valley. Motifs of an armored helmet and intertwined, sleeping dragons recur across the architecture, artwork, and labels, lending the brand a sense of grandeur and permanence.
At the same time, the winery and tasting room are resolutely contemporary and minimalist, and the proprietors themselves feel little personal affinity for Arthurian legend or medieval courtliness. In reimagining the website, Vin was tasked with reconciling the established symbolism with a modern, refined expression of luxury, thus subtly signaling the brand’s evolution from its founding era to its next chapter.
Equally important was the need to communicate humility. Founder Jim Bailey grew up on a working farm and attended boarding school on scholarship; today, he and his wife Kelley are deeply committed philanthropists and generous hosts, known for welcoming guests with genuine warmth. Vin translated this grounded, human spirit into a digital experience that feels gracious, inviting, and authentic.
