Site Wines is the personal brand of winemaker Jeremy Weintraub. We developed a brand identity to launch Site Wines, conveying a bold contemporary character. The icon recalls US Geological Survey markers to emphasize the importance of location in winemaking.

The Challenge

  1. Express Site as modern but mindful of tradition, serious but not stodgy, elegant, light.
  2. Emphasize the importance of location and terroir.
  3. Attract visitors to the website. Give them a good idea of the approach and purpose, but retain some distance.
  4. Appeal to an audience of wine lovers who enjoy buying that special bottle regularly, primarily mid- to upper-income, on the West Coast and East Coast cities.
